Abigail Burrows

Abigail Burrows leads a versatile career as a soloist, chamber, orchestral and pit musician, currently performing on the National tour of The King & I. In demand as a teacher, she is a regular visitor on Flute Days across the country and has tutored on flute courses in the UK and abroad. A passionate outreach performer, she has given over 200 concerts in schools and hospitals, established fife choirs across the world and created popular workshop concepts such as the infamous Scale Game, Tooty Flute  and Wrong Concert.

Abbie plays in duos with Daniel Swain (piano) & Tom McLauchlan (guitar) & is the founding member of contemporary flute group FLIGHT.
