The wrong concert

Abbie is the writer and presenter of The Wrong Concert, an interactive musical comedy for children which features leading soloists and orchestral principals playing badly and the audience putting them right. This was first 'performed' at a Flutewise event at the Barbican/Guildhall in 2009 and was repeated in 2012 at Cadogan Hall. In 2013 a spin-off, The Wrong Exam, featured the ABRSM Chief Board of Examiners alongside LSO principal Gareth Davies (and Darth Vader!). This was held at an LSO/Flutewise collaborative event called London:Calling at LSO St Luke's.

The Wrong Concert was performed at the Australian Flute Festival in 2015, La Côte Flûte Festival (Switzerland) in 2016 and Adams International Flute Festival (Netherlands) in 2016 and 2017. The Wrong Exam - in association with Flutewise and ABRSM - was repeated again in 2017 at the London Oratory School. The next one with be at the NFA Convention in Orlando in 2018.
