TEACHING

Abbie has taught at the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music Junior Departments (as a deputy) . She is currently the peripatetic flute teacher at Queensgate School, South Kensington and has previously held positions at Hill House School, Knightsbridge and Glenthorne High School Specialist Arts College, Sutton. She is a regular visiting tutor at Flute Days across the country and has worked for Flutewise for over five years, tutoring on their residential courses in the UK, Slovenia and Croatia. She also writes articles for their quarterly magazine and creates a photo diary documenting the adventures of 'Tooty the Travelling Flute' - which sees her taking pictures of a flute in very strange places and circumstances! She is the creator of the infamous Scale Game, due to be published next year, and writer of The Wrong Concert, being performed at Cadogan Hall in March 2012. Abbie also leads the junior course at Flute School London.
