Abigail Burrows

Abigail made her concerto debut aged fourteen at the Royal Festival Hall, performing with the Ernest Read Symphony Orchestra. She has since played with several orchestras across the UK and abroad, including an appearance at The Anvil, Basingstoke, with the Deane Sinfonia. As the winner of the Watford Festival Concerto Competition, she toured Russia as a recitalist during their Rachmaninoff Festival and was invited back the following year to play as a soloist with the Novgorod Philharmonic Orchestra in their Stars of the 21st Century Festival. 

Last year, Abigail performed Mozart's Concerto in G with the Scottish Sinfonia at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and made her eighth appearance with the Cornerstone Chamber Orchestra in their 2011 season. She has also appeared with the Grampian Concert Orchestra, Letchworth Sinfonia, Southwell Orchestral Society, St Albans Strings and Milton Keynes Sinfonia, and performed works by Gluck, Quantz, Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Thomson, Poulenc, Chaminade, Rutter and Nielsen.
